She has been creating hand painted pottery for about six years and absolutely loves the opportunity to create and paint designs for you to enjoy. Clay Pots Pottery is known for its vibrant and bold use of colors and designs as well as the many personalized and customized pieces that can be created. The pieces are unique, elegant and one-of-kind with a touch of whimsy. Basically, the sky is the limit when it comes to designing something special for you to keep or give as a gift. Kim began Clay Pots Pottery in 2000 while trying to think of a "job" that she would love that had enough flexibility to allow her to spend as much time with her kids as possible. She first began a travelling studio letting others do the painting in their home, schools, businesses. Through a friend, she was introduced to a retail store to sell pieces that she had painted. One store led to another and now the focus of Clay Pots Pottery is a retail line of hand painted pottery to stores and consumers. Kim lives in Minnesota with her husband and two kids.
